Wet vs dry

Dry: gives you the best visibility and the cleanest line, hair stands up naturally and you can see exactly what's trimmed. The flip side is hair on the floor or over the sink.

Wet (shower): warm water softens hair and relaxes skin, cleanup washes away, and the routine slots into a shower you were having anyway, 3 minutes or less. The catch is visibility and wet hair lying flatter, so you might do a second pass.

Most customers do both, rough trim dry for accuracy, maintenance trims in the shower.

How many showers will the battery last?

A full charge gives 50 minutes of use, a 30 minute charge covers a session, a full charge from flat takes about 5 hours. It charges by USB. For a few minutes per trim, that's weeks between charges for most.

Do I need shaving cream or oil?

No, a trimmer doesn't need lubrication the way a razor does, because nothing drags on your skin. Some like a light lather on very dry skin areas anyway, that's purely comfort preference.

Can I rinse it under the tap to clean it? Yes, rinsing the head under running water is the standard cleanup. Tap the loose hair out first and let it dry before storing.

Is it safe to use plugged in? Like any bathroom device, don't use it while it's plugged in and never charge it in splash range.
